alischa's Journals on Buzznet http://alischa.buzznet.com/user/journal/ en-us <![CDATA[dude, she's like 10!]]> http://alischa.buzznet.com/user/journal/2633531/dude-like-10/ its been a bit over a week since i pierced my septum and i am even more inloe with it. sure i have to have it flipped up most of the time. but tis there and thats all that matters. i actually named it. norman bates. i just sort of felt weird saying it all the time and saying septum around people who dont know piercings can get you some dirty glares.so i had norman flipped down at the mall today and we were playing hide and seek. yeah not a great idea when you have six kidders and the third largest mall everrr. but it was fun. we got to ditch abbey. which was a nice change of pace. any way. we had decided to quit the game and meet up with the rest of the crew. so jp, kelsey, and i tell them we will come get them at the sony store. so on our way over we stop at journeys and i get some of those socky things to put on my shoes so i can skate. well that takes a fucking fifteen minues because i'm wearing chucks. so anyway we get them on and are almost at sony when i get a call from kevin asking us where we are. so instead of answering i ask him wherethey are. he says they are in vans. so i huf and puff and tell him to meet us at zummiez. vans is like two stores down from zummiez. so jp kelsey and i treck hakfway across the mall back to zummiez. and this was our fourth time crossing that thresholld in a matter of fourty fibe minutes so we go by the same guy. four times. well w eget there and they arent there. so we wait a bit. i get fed up and walk out to find them, passing the same worker. i go down to vans, still dont see any sign of them, so i walk back. the worker is with another worker. they look at me. and right when i walk past i hear the one guy say "dude she is like 10!!!" i'm all wtf!!! but i was too frazz;ed to say anything. so we call kevin and he syas that they are at zales. so we walk out again. mind you this is my sixth or seventh time passing the guy. and he is all bye ladies. so i say bye. then he asks if we'll be back. so i do a hugggge shrug and say maybe. we finally meet up with out other half. drama starts blahblhablah. and htne we go home. but all in all fun day.

!!!!!!!!!!!!1 crazy lady was at the mall. some like old decrepet old lady was sitting on the bench talking to a trash bag. then out of no where she starts yelling at it and cursing her head off. like five minutes later she gets up. picks up her bag and walks away while telling the bag to hushhush. i believe th bag was fille diwth dead cats.

]]> Buzznet alischa 2008-07-06T00:05:00Z <![CDATA[oih!]]> http://alischa.buzznet.com/user/journal/2590551/oih/ tonight was amzing. i went over to my best friend james's house around 6ish. he just got home from the hospital about 2 weeks ago. he was there for two months and we all really missed him. well it was kelsey, james, and i and we were jsut watching tv and then it started to rain so we had the genuis idea to go dance in the rain. as we do this kelsey and i change our minds and jump on the trampoline. then *lightbulb* we decide to jump in his pool. we didnt have bathing suits but that dint matter. he has an above/in ground pool. we thought the water level was up to our chest but boy it sue wasnt. we jump in and the water only comes up to our knees. but it was still fun.

so we go inside and put some of james's clothes on. then we order from the domonos right down the street. well it takes the guy like 20 minutes to get to the house when it should only take 5. then he  gives us cheesy bread and not cina sticks. so we get the cheesey bread for free, but it takes him and extra half hour to go back and get out cinna-sick. like jeeesuuus. but anyway tonight was super fun. i love those two kids. but gosh when i gave dad a goodnight hug and sort of smushed my head and that made my grind my nose into his shoulder. holy fuck that hurt. my eyes started to water. and i couldnt say anything because they dont know about the septum. grrrr. well i'm off to watch kung fu panda on the computer.

I think I might just trust you, maybe. But I'm not sure. I'm not sure I wanna know

]]> Buzznet alischa 2008-06-27T19:32:00Z <![CDATA[the high.]]> http://alischa.buzznet.com/user/journal/2587691/the-high/ so wednesday i went out to the mall and got a pircing needle and a hoop that could fit inside. then i went over to hottopic and had the longest conversation with one of the workers about piercings and what not.

so that night i get home and i started to get a bit nervous. my one friend was over and she was suppose to film it while i pierced my septum. well she ends up having a couple of drinks so she is pretty much useless. it was about 11:30 or so when i decided to just do it. i went to the bathroom and washed both my hands and my nose with soap and water. i went back to my room and got my gloves on. i had everything i need laid out on a stool. i sat there for a bit collecting myself and making sure i had my sweet spot,     [a few days before this i had found my sweet spot]. so i was all ready to go. i picked the needle up and started to push it through. i heard/felt the pop that let me know the first layer of skin was broken. my eyes started to water like mad crazy and all at once my nose started to run a tad bit. so i kept going and i was about half way through when i was all "fuuccck put some music on" and my friend told me to fucking hold on and wait. so i freaked at her because here i am sitting on my floor nose and eyes running with a needle halfway through my nose asking for metro station and she tells me to hold on so she can check her phone. i was pissed the fuck off. she finally got the music on and that helped a slight bit. i took a deep breath and pushed it throught the last 2 layers, i think there were like 4, the needle of through and i was  happy. i continued to push it till the needle  was even on both sides. then i got the ring and pushed that through with the needle. afterwards i just looked in the mirror and saw it and wow, that was the most amzing feeling ever. i was on top of the world and nothing could bring me down. my friend thought it was cool but i had to put her to bed since she was slightly gone. but even that didnt ruin the great feeling i had. it didnt really hurt after wards. my nose got a sort of warm numb feeling to it for a few minutes but after that it was fine.  there was a wee bit of blood but nothing major. i tried to flip it up inside my nose but it turns out the ring was not wide enough. so i had a slight freak out. 

i went to the malll the next day and got a septum multi pack from hottopic for $18. put the retainer in at some coffee shop and vavooom it was amzing. the retainer was a 14G and i had pierced with like a 20G. so there was a bit of streching but nothing major and it was painless. all my friends really like it even though it is a bit out there for most of them they seem to be taking pretty well to it. it still amazes me how you can just flip it up and badaboom its gone.  

all in all it was definitly worth it. i'm really glad i did it myself because that just makes me like the piercing even more. plus i got the huge adrenaline rush from it. everyone said it was really painful but it didnt hurt as much as i thought it would. sure my eyes watered like a bitch, but i think the fact that my eyeliner was stinging my eyes sort of hurt more then the septum. lots of places i was reading said it took them forever but it only took me like 5 minutes.  its better if you do it fast. dont stall because it'll just hurt more. its been only like a day and a half but i absolutly love it.

]]> Buzznet alischa 2008-06-24T06:14:00Z <![CDATA[smiley. frowny.]]> http://alischa.buzznet.com/user/journal/2564931/smiley-frowny/ so i just gave myself a smiley and a frowny. did both with a saftey pin. honestly the frowny was pianless. altough the smiley made my eyes water. i kept the saftey pin in my frowny and i used a bar with keeper balls in my smiley. it made my lip pouf out a bit so i told my parents i kept my gum there. i'm going out on wednesday and getting real things for them.  i'll also be getting a needle and a retainer to do my septum. i'm really crazy mad excited to do my septum. i'll be getting a bit tipsy before hand to numb the pain, but its all good. the 70's were amzing. i want to mix it with now and bam awesomness.
